Talk show on climate change

CARBON Talk- a community awareness program on Climate Change and Carbon Trade produced by WWF Western Melanesia Program, its partners and the Radio Maria PNG began this week and will run for six weeks.
The program was aired at 2pm by Radio Maria FM103.5 and was to be replayed at 7pm. It was to be relayed at 4.30pm by NBC Karai Service during its initial launching.
This program attempts to address certain issues related to the Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD), Carbon Trade and other Climate Change initiatives.
It brings input from reputable stakeholders from various government and non government organistions on the future impact of climate change and carbon trading on sustainable forest management and forest mitigation in PNG and internationally.
The campaign also brings together a wider group of people with knowledge and interest in the topic.
